I specialize in knee and hip joint replacement surgery.
I treat people of all ages with musculoskeletal disorders at Pihlajalinna Ikioma in Mikkeli and Mehiläinen in Mikkeli.
I have over 20 years of experience as a doctor, which includes work as a general practitioner in health centers, general surgery work in hospitals, gastro- and colonoscopies, as well as work as a specialist in orthopedics and traumatology in hospitals and private medical centers.

I returned to Finland in 1998 and worked as a general practitioner in Savonlinna, specializing in surgery.
In 2000, I spent three years in Tampere specializing as an orthopedic and trauma specialist.
Since 2005, I have been working in Mikkeli and have performed over 4,000 knee and hip replacement surgeries.
In the fall of 2021, I started robot-assisted joint surgeries, and I plan to have performed over 400 robot-assisted joint surgeries by the year 2025.

I serve as the CEO, professional organizer, and advocacy consultant at Ortomix Oy.

I graduated as a nurse from Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences in 2013 and as a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2016.
I qualified as a solution-focused short therapist from Kymenlaakso Summer University in 2022.
I graduated as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (Master's level) from Xamk in 2024.
I graduated as a solution-focused professional organizer ®TM in the spring of 2025.

My nursing tasks have included independent outpatient work, geriatric care, disability work, surgical nursing, and laboratory work.
My business tasks include managing and developing the company, investment activities, and Airbnb operations.

Scientific article The benefits and harm of psychedelics in the treatment of patients with mental health and substance abuse disorders: an integrative literature review I wrote with Marja-Liisa Rissanen.
